St George’s Island diving and removal a large fishing net.
Johnny H, Johnny A, and Nicola went out to St George’s Island to remove a large fishing net yesterday. After a tough 4 hours and some deep dives down to 45 Metres, they hauled the net back on to the boat; making quite a mess.
It had been a good few years (five to be exact) since I began my foray into the world of professional diving and after a winter spent diving around Asia and a second season at Latchi Watersports about to begin; I felt it was time to progress with the PADI Assistant Instructor Evaluation at Latchi Dive Centre.
We recently completed a PADI Assistant Instructor Course for our very own Johnny Ashwin.
Johnny, who returned for a second season as part of the Latchi Dive Team. Completed the 5-day course and we all found it a great deal of fun. The PADI Assistant Instructor Course consists of instructor-led classroom presentations along with practical teaching workshops. Johnny did a superb job on.
