LATCHI DIVE CENTRE DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING
Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you. While not a scuba certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. To sign up for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health. Are you ready to try it out?
For those who have not completed the QR code PADI discover scuba diving e-learning, we start with a short classroom session where we complete all the necessary paperwork and watch the Discover Scuba Diving DVD and answer a few basic knowledge review questions, in total this should take around 30 - 40 minutes. After the classroom session is complete we head out by boat to the beautiful Blue Lagoon where you will experience breathing underwater for the first time. Your Instructor will give you a full briefing about the skills that you will practice along with basic diving safety procedures.
Once in the water, you will practice several basic scuba skills with your Instructor in shallow water (shallow enough for you to be able to stand up if needed) then go on a dive in the crystal clear waters of one of our beautiful sites along the Akamas Coastline to a maximum depth of 6 meters. After the trip, there will be a short debrief with your Instructor who can then answer any questions you may have about what you can do now or the scuba diving courses we offer.
We run Discover Scuba Diving most afternoon's starting at 1 pm (2 pm in the Summer) with a finish time between 5 pm and 6 pm. Included in your Discover Scuba Diving Experience price is your Registration with PADI, equipment use, instructor and drinking water
If you enjoy your Discover Scuba Diving experience so much and want to learn more about scuba diving you will be entitled to 60 Euro off the PADI Scuba Diver or PADI Open Water Diver Course if you sign up within 1 week of your Discover Scuba Experience.
