Private diving is ideal because it allows you to enjoy the mesmerising underwater world at your own pace. And, not with the masses. Enjoying the peace and quiet with just your and the instructor’s Bubbles interrupting the silence
We offer several options depending on what you would love to do…
Morning Fun Dives with a Private Diving Guide
Meet your guide in the morning, complete the paperwork and then just relax. Your guide will get all your equipment ready and loaded onto the boat. You will later depart on our dive boat along the Akamas coastline to enjoy two dives, once anchored at our dive site this is where the fun begins. You and your guide will depart to experience all of the underwater delights without other divers. Private diving is a peaceful and relaxing pursuit without distraction. Having a one to one buddy will also allow you to go off exploring rather than following standard routes.
Private Boat Fun Dives
Don’t like early mornings? Want to go off exploring, somewhere different? Then this is the perfect option for you.
Your guide will know what to prepare. Therefore, after meeting up the day before to complete the necessary paperwork, you can sit back and relax, knowing that everything will be taken care of.
On the day of your dive, you will arrive at the time you have arranged. Your private dive boat with all the equipment, drinking water, boat captain and guide are ready to go. If you know the area and want to go somewhere particular, then please let us know. We will happily recommend the fantastic dive sites that we have in Latchi.
Once you have returned from your two dives; or more if you like, your guide and captain will take care of all your equipment. You’re free to shower or change clothing and complete your logbook. Look forward to recording all the fantastic things you have seen or that you did on your underwater adventure with Latchi Dive Centre.
Out on your own yacht or on one of our private yachts?
Look forward to meeting your guide in the afternoon before you depart, so that he or she has everything ready for your private dive. On the day of your private diving experience, your guide will meet you beforehand and describe the incredible and mesmerising journey you will take. Later, returning safely to your yacht where you can sit back and relax in the sun with a few drinks in the beautiful Akamas for the rest of your day.
Underwater Marriage Proposal
Looking for a unique wedding proposal that you’ll both cherish for years to come? The Akamas coastlines warm turquoise waters are ideal for an underwater marriage proposal. We prepare a custom marriage proposal sign and coordinate the logistics to make the experience a delightful surprise. When you return to the dive boat, we will have a champagne toast ready to celebrate the happy couple.
Our afternoon continues with a pleasant cruise along Akamas visiting many beautiful bays before ending with a romantic sunset. If you haven’t experienced a sunset in Cyprus before; prepare to be overwhelmed. Please note: a dive certification is not required to participate as we’ll set up a pool training lesson for you and your significant other with a PADI dive professional.
Private Diving Course Instruction.
Excellent for those that are a little nervous or those that want to tailor a course around additional commitments. You’ll have your own instructor for you, your family or for your entourage. We’ll take care of all the arrangements. You can work in our classroom, or in the comfort of your own villa. Please note: there is a minimum requirement for theory, skills and dives that must be completed before any certification can be awarded. Your instructor will advise you depending on the course you take.
